This isn't going to be a lengthy entry and it's not philosophical at all but I just wanted to make note of the fact that I've learned a very important phrase in French, from my obsessive reading.
I've learned how to say "shut up" in a rude way - in fact, it's more like shut the fuck up.
I think this might come in very handy in my daily life and certainly on my trip to Paris.
